Wirkkala Rosenthal Porcelaine Noire Teapot - (Item #1248)
Tapio Wirkkala (Finland) for Rosenthal Studio Linie (Germany) two person teapot. Produced in both black and white porcelain, this one in "porcelaine noire" with wooden and silver-plated handle. Primarily in matt black except for high gloss glaze to top of lid and the interior of pot. Rare - despite being produced from 1963 to 1975. (Example in Finnish glass museum).
Dimensions: 5-ins wide by 6-ins high (handle up)
Condition: Excellent, no chips or cracks
