Early David Gil (1922-2002) for Bennington Potters (founded in Vermont 1948) ceramic face sculpture on metal pedestal base. Stamped DG for David Gil. At some time the mouth has been broken and re-attached. The repair is not noticeable from the front but very obvious from the back (see detailed photos)

Early very rare (we have not seen this particular form in over 10-years of looking) Jens Quistgaard design for Dansk tall elegant cast iron candlestick pair. Each is formed from 4 separate cast iron pieces that are screwed together separated by brass bushings. Bases are stamped "Dansk Design I.H.Q. Denmark"

Large sized version of Tapio Wirkkala's (1915-1985) Avena vase for Iittala. Designed 970 thi appears to be an early version with hand etched signing and number 3544 - as opposed to current acid etched markings.

Early rare Jens Quistgaard design for Dansk a tall cast iron candlestick holder with seven adjustable candle arms. Each of the seven candle holders can be rotated about the central pole, which can be screwed in to tighten them in place. Each candle arm separated with a brass bushing. Base is stamped "Dansk Design J.H.Q. Denmark" (Our links section provides an online source for Dansk replacement tiny taper candles 1/4-in wide in lengths of up to 18-ins)

Striking large vintage Italian vase by Bitossi imported and distributed by Raymor. Pathes of alternating bright orrange glazes over rustic dark base color.

Blenko #7222 designed 1972 by John Nickerson. Classic Blenko blue with a ground crystal stopper with unusual blue somerso inclusion. This is the same body style as the 7222X which was produced as part of the "Charisma" collection in the same year. Full foil label and Milton West Virginia labels.

Pair of interesting older French made vases. Appears to be a white glaze over black porcelain. The taller bottle retains an old label stating "Porcelain Francaise Handicraft Co Ltd"

Complete boxed set of six metal Hedgehog ashtrays based on a set originally designed in the 1950s/1960s by Walter Bosse (Austrian Ceramicist). This set produced in Russia appears to be cast in steel with an overall black colored finish that has been partially removed to enhance the surface detailing.

Arteluce (Italy) pendant chandelier lamp designed in 1990 by Ezio Didone. This UFO saucer shaped lamp is in black enameled steel, with white frosted glass inserts top and bottom and three chrome suspension rods. It takes a single (200-W max) RS7 Halogen bulb (currently fitted with a US 120-V 150-W Phillips model). It comes with original ceiling cover and mounting hardware.

Heavy duty teak nut crackers with steel jaws made in Sweden

Architectural sized extra large (LL) version of the 1961 designed 6123 decanter by Wayne Husted for Blenko. This decanter, produced 1961-1964, features a large textured solid stopper and is in Jonquil Yellow.

Cathrine Holm (made in Norway) enameled steel fondue set. The set includes the base tray, chromed steel support and covered bowl. No Sterno lamp/heater.
