Vintage Nelson Style Daybed - (Item #322)
Somebody's interpretation of George Nelson's long low daybed. Featuring 1950's style black hairpin legs supporting a heavily constructed un-sprung blond wood (beech?) base with veneered surround and backrest. Additional rope laced backrest cushion support.
Dimensions: 81-ins long by 32-ins deep by 31-ins high
Condition: Very solid with decent upholstery and soft foam, both ends of backrest missing some veneer. Newly replaced rope and turnbuckles between backrest an base. Age unknown.
